Besides working on my body, working on
my mental well-being is equally important. I’ve fallen victim to anxiety be it due to work or personal matters and learning how to manage it can be challenging.
For me, yoga sessions help to keep my mind focused in a good way - if I lose focus and find myself having negative thoughts, I’ll lose balance for that pose.
@fitbitsg also has the Relax feature, where I can choose to engage in 2-5mins of guided breathing sessions 😌 Deep breathing has been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce stress and lessen anxiety.
Take a moment to be mindful today - take some alone time, unwind with some music or simply step away from the screen for awhile.
